heh, you make a good point about divorce. i'd be interesting in finding stats about the correlation between age at marriage and divorce.

logically, i feel that people would be more mature and able to make the kind of decisions necessary to make a marriage work if they didn't get hitched so young. but problems can arise at any age, and people can be stupid at any age, so my "logic" might be moot ;)

Dear God I love Mickey Rourke and I'm happy he's back in the business, but Genghis Khan? Really? Wow, Hollywood, stop trolling the entire world :/

LMAO the SPN/DW crossover works ridiculously well! And it HAS to happen. I've read a few crossover fics but none of them was particularly great (I mean, it can be problematic to combine lore of both shows into one - for example SPN's werewolf and DW's lupine wavelength haemovariform, they're nothing like each other at all), though some were decent enough.

Did you see that A Single Man has finally leaked? I'm so excited for the weekend when I'll finally have the time to watch it

see, generally i don't like crossovers for the same reason - few authors are able to combine lore properly. it definitely is a difficult task, but i wait patiently for the day when an epic dw/spn crossover will be created, and will actually meet the strict standards of both fandoms! \0/

IDK how I feel about Bonnie and Jamie. On the one hand, awesome for them and best of luck, but on the other, aren't they both aged about 12? Oh well.

Meanwhile, that Dalek cake is a thing of beauty, in general but also because it is so incredibly half-arsed. XD XD XD I particularly like the one that is just a fucking Walnut Whip with a marshmallow on top.

I am now fantasising about all kinds of Dalek-shaped foods. I'm thinking maybe a polystyrene Dalek, studded all over with cocktail onions on sticks.
