a sudden windfall?

One of Christian's cousins is moving back to Alabama/South Carolina (sounds like the latter one first, then the former one). They only lived up here maybe two years, and his wife couldn't handle the cold winters--migraines and such. I'm sure there's more to it than just weather--the North and the South have very different cultures
