SN 309- Production details and maybe some meta

I thought I should get this posted before the new episode tomorrow night drives everything I've been thinking about this week from my head.

I like seeing all the details they work into the show- especially the the ones we aren't really supposed to see. For example, Sam's newspaper clippings last week.

Awesome! I love BtS stuff like that! It didn't even dawn on me that Dean shouldn't have been standing out there like that, I need to watch the episode again. I'm all fangirled out today with my Dean right and amulet.! :)

It didn't dawn on me either until Jen asked. I had just assumed he'd been to the pop machine, but it was interesting that they actually showed that he has cans. I've only really watched it once. I watched it a second time, but mostly frame by frame taking screen caps so there was no sound.

Thanks so much for posting this Amanda!! Andie had mentioned something about being told some of the props would be silly, but I didn't catch the Condoleeza Rice thing, lmao. It's waterproof pajamas all over again.

Also, GREAT call on Ruby and how she approaches the boys. It's absolutely true, and I'm positive that was exactly what she is meaning to do. I'm just reeling from that observation. Seriously you rock dude!

Exactly why I went looking for it! :P I usually try to read this stuff anyway to figure out where the episodes are set for my map.

Thanks! I told that theory to my sister that night, and she had the same reaction so I wondered if anybody else had noticed.

I HATE Ruby. I agree, she's playing both sides. I noticed the difference in the way she approaches the boys but I never went as far to see she was acting like their counterparts. Well done you for insightfulness.

I never had a problem with the treatment of the witches. I was too busy having Charmed flashbacks.

I usually try to see if I can read what they show on screen- partly to see if I can figure out where they are supposed to be when they don't tell us and partly to see if I can catch anything funny. Andie told us that the art department does write some silly stuff that they don't expect to show on screen, so I went looking.

Ha! Charmed! I thought of that when I saw the ad, but didn't think of it when I actually watched the episode.

I was surprised last night when I could make out so much and then to see that he had two cans, not one! I say he was a sweetie and got a can for his brother, not just himself. *nods* :D

Well of COURSE he got one for Sammy! In fact, he probably spent a few minutes searching around for a Beer Machine before finally settling on the sodas. He is Batman, after all :)
