Being a Wal-Mart insider myself for a bit over 2 years, I somewhat have to disagree with you. While their may be cheaper places, Brookshire's definitely is not it. I've tested my theory long and hard on that one before. I ended up spending quite a noticeable difference between the two places. Too noticeable for me to want to shop there. Which is a shame because Brookshire's is extremely closer to me than Wal-Mart is. I was going to test this in further stores such as Super 1, Macs, etc. But Wal-Mart has me under the hook with being able to buy everything I need in one spot without having to hit up multiple places. I'm a sucker.

Avoid Mac's and Harvest Foods... they are three times more expensive than anyone else.
