Both mom and I retired early last night. About two houses down, the people were shooting off fireworks. They continued to do so AFTER 10pm. It's against parish law to shoot them between 10pm and 8amNeither of us could get to sleep from the noise. She gets up and calls the sheriff's department. A bit later, the noise stopped. Hopefully those morons

To be honest, that is a stupid ass law. It's not even fully dark until around 10pm.

People bitch on FB about 4th of July fireworks and I'm like...it's a few days of your entire year. You'll be okay.
