Prompt: A sudden change in the weather. Use this however it inspires you.

Summary: While following the tracks in the moor, Sherlock and John are surprised by the sudden storm.
A/N: Not much, but it is way too hot to actually think about this... *is melting from heat*

They have been wandering around for hours, making ever growing circles around King's Pyland and the place of the murder.
While Sherlock concentrates on the tracks and other hints on the ground, John keeps an eye on their surroundings.
As such he sees the black clouds coming, but he underestimates their speed in these quarters.
"Eh, Sherlock?" John finally utters, watching as it suddenly grows dark around them.
"Hm, what is it, John?" Sherlock asks, his eyes still on the ground.
"If you do not wish to lose the track we should run."
Sherlock looks up just when loud thunder sounds and a few moments later rain starts to fall.
"Damn it!" Sherlock shouts and starts to run, John trying to follow him without slipping in the mud.
"No rain for days, as such saving us the tracks and now this!" Sherlock bellows over the storm and then grabs John's wrist.
"This way!" He tugs John along and they continue to run for a few more moments, when John can see lights in the distance. "Sherlock, there!"
"I know," comes the quiet acquiescence and after a few minutes they reach the stable, finding shelter at the front.
"Great, now we are back where we started," John mutters, shaking his dripping arms and Sherlock smirks a bit.
"Wrong, John, we have reached the end of our journey."
John blinks and Sherlock points to the nameplate hanging near the entrance.
Written on it, in bold, golden letters, is Mapleton.
