We've almost reached the 48-hours-after mark, and I'm still trying to (a) catch my breath and (b) just catch up, period. Sunday ended up being so crazy and weirdly timed that I almost feel like I missed everything. For example: I missed Helen on the red carpet because (a) I was walking to my Muckle's apartment through a snow flurry and (b) my mom

Whoots for the Helen cookies! I loved a line I saw in an article that was promoting them - "Ever wanted to whisper sweet nothings into Helen Mirren's ear? Well here's your chance." LOL

I still haven't managed to fully calm down. So damn proud of our dame!

Oh, have at it by all means. And I just grin whenever I think about her walking up onto that stage after they called her name. I know for a fact that I looked like a FOOL on my way to work this morning.
