If PJ doesn't release his projected DVD of extra footage and bloopers, I suggest we all get together and glue some shoes on his feet.

Thanks for posting these: I'm still laughing!

Would you believe he was wearing shoes on Saturday? With that, the 30kg weight loss and the contact lenses, I was about to stand up and shout "Imposter!" - but then he started talking, and that was unmistakeably PJ.

I don't think anyone would have filmed it, and it wouldn't have come out well if they had - a lot of it was very dark, and, as I said, the sound was pretty bad, even without the audience reaction. I'll just keep my fingers crossed for the "special edition" in the next couple of years.

Failing that I guess we could always hire a gang to break into Wingnut and nick it off his hard drive.

Thanks for the squee - you do it a lot better than I do.

As far as I know, there are no plans to release the DVD we saw. However, as I mentioned to MJ above, I have heard a rumour that it may become an extra disc in a complete trilogy set somewhere down the line - but that is only a rumour. All the actual LOTR footage has been returned to the New Line vaults in the US - PJ does not own it and would have to apply for access. The footage he showed us is what he took off the Avid film editing machine.

I have no idea who owns the behind-the-scenes footage - probably New Line again, so I guess that it is also in storage in the US. I'd love to see more of that, too.

I'll keep my fingers crossed, anyway.

That was too funny. And much better than the home page at OSA's account. Just a tad more detail. Thank you, Juno for the head's up.

Theoden: "Barricade the door! They're Jehovah's Witnesses!"
Pip: *DIES*

MUST turn that into an icon, if I can find caps.

Friending you. Just so's you know. :D And you might wish to friend me back in order to catch 101 Things-related blathering such as today's post, in which I speak well of you and your courage... (http://www.livejournal.com/users/acroamatica/64640.html)

*friends you immediately*
Thank you for reminding me to do that - I was thinking it yesterday but didn't actually get around to doing it. (I already had you bookmarked, of course!)

Thanks for the link - I've replied (well, will reply) to it over there.

Hi, Jen, and welcome - I only wish that you could have been there.

I've actually read some of your fics at Monaboyd / Shades of Monaboyd and loved them (my current favourite is "A Pirate and an Astronaut" - there should be lots more Jamie/Geoffrey in the world). I've been meaning to look for more but kept ending up at the wrong journal (I have now clearly labelled them so I won't get mixed up).

Friends?
