I'm attempting to reorganize this journal, so here it is... the FAQ. I couldn't think of a ton of questions, so if you have any or if you think of any that would be useful on this page, just comment and let me know.
Hi darling! Erm, I don't mean to be a bother, although it is very entertaining, but how did you get those links? Like, you had the question and the link took you to that question on the page.. You know. I would love to know, if possible. Hee.
But everything is very neat and organized and lovely. Of course. =)
I just wanted to say thank you for this post and all your work. I've wanted to start making icons and have only made a few before my computer was reimaged and lost the photoshop on it. Now I'm going to try out GIMP and I also am trying out new fonts, which I never knew how to download and install until I saw your post. Thank you so much. Oh and I'll be "friending" you so that I can see all your gorgeous work.
No need to thank me, it's the truth. You really helped me out when I had insomnia last night. Ha. And thanks for the luck, I'll need it. I'll definately still be checking out your icons and such. They are too great to pass up.
...Okay, I feel like a huge dork, but I'm not 100% sure on something.
I know what hotlinking is, but it seems that when you upload an icon to livejournal from a separate URL it actually reuploads to livejournal itself. Checking the URLs of icons in peoples' userpics page confirms this.
Does "hotlinking" icons onto your livejournal account/userpics list actually leech bandwidth from the iconmakers?

1. <*a href="#program"*>What program do you use to make your icons?<*/a*>
And then the question answer further down the page is coded like this:
<*a name="program"*>Text text text text text.
You don't need to close the <*a name*> tag - or, at least, I didn't.
Hope that helped - I'm not the greatest at explaining things (hence this page), so if you have any other questions, just ask, of course. :)
