We made a last minute trip and drove to Phoenix this weekend. We left at 3AM on Friday and arrived about 7:30PM. We had Lily with us, and with me being pregnant, we had to stop often to change diapers (Lily's, of course), relieve bladders, and exert some energy. Overall it was a great trip and Lily did awesome! We went to an 80s themed birthday party this last Friday and it was a lot of fun! You know How I LOVE the 80s. This is what I made Alan wear so I could live vicariously through him. He is in my wig and blue jacket. I think he looks AWESOME!!! The men were a bit on the feminine side with how they dressed then, so I think it works. He will KILL ( Read more... )

We went trick or treating at Alan's work and Lily had a blast! She ran for a full hour to each cubicle that had candy. It was really cute. Here are a few pictures of our time. Enjoy!

So a big truck came this morning at 8AM to drop off our sod. We have lots of it now! Today's plans will be clean up and getting everything ready to lay down the sod on Sunday. I haven't posted any pictures of them getting sprinklers in because it's boring looking at dirt and stuff. We will have grass soon, though, so stay tuned for those ( Read more... )

So, I took some laundry in the laundry room to get it started just a little while ago. I got it all going and started to walk out of the room and my eagle eye spotted a HUGE, UGLY, LONG-LEGGED SPIDER!!!! I screamed like a girl! A sissy girl!!! Yep, that's me.
