Peregrine Falcon

A large female staked out the backyard as a hunting ground. Sometimes there's a racket at night, sort of squawking sounds, and I think she's hunting ducks? You're in the middle of their range, since I've seen one up here and they're native to the Caribbean as their Linnæan name (Buteo jamaicensis) indicates.
