Peregrine Falcon

A large female staked out the backyard as a hunting ground. Sometimes there's a racket at night, sort of squawking sounds, and I think she's hunting ducks? I don't know what the squawk-makers are, I just assume they're ducks. I have yet to take a picture of the falcon, but I see her *flying around, and perching on one of the large trees. You're in the middle of their range, since I've seen one up here and they're native to the Caribbean as their Linnæan name (Buteo jamaicensis) indicates.

You might want to get a copy of James Bond.
