I freaking love thunderstorms. We don't get them as often here, and when we do they're not as spectacular as the ones I've experienced up in Ontario. The whole sky will light up with the lightning, we rarely get the fork lightning. It poured for a few minutes this morning, though. I could hear it outside. For Indian cinema, while I haven't really watched much myself, my Hinduism prof recommended watching the 80s television production of the Ramayana. We learned the story of the Ramayana in class, and it's fascinating!! Do you know it? I think Sita is a wonderfully strong female character (especially at the end when Rama asks her to walk through fire a second time to prove she remained true to him and she just tells him to piss off and gets her mom to take her home aka back to the earth).

I do know of the Ramayana, but I have not seen the film adaptation. But it would be very interesting to see!

And if you the rain/thunder you should visit over here sometime! XD British weather is well known for being completely weird with sudden rain and that! XD

The freak storm only lasted a couple of minutes, though, but still enough to form a giant lake in the middle of my street.
~ Did you play in it!? I so would have. :D
