It finally rained today! *dances* And as predicted, when it rained, it poured. The thunder was booming very loudly, and the lightning was striking almost constantly. And of course, with me being the rain/thunderstorm fangirl that I am, I ran outside, stood on my porch as I fantasized about in my last English entry, and took it all in, haha. Twas the first heavy storm after a heatwave thus far this year, after all, which is quite frankly my favourite part of summer. Yes I know I'm crazy. The freak storm only lasted a couple of minutes, though, but still enough to form a giant lake in the middle of my street. My place is at the bottom of a slanted street, meaning all the rainwater just rushes down to my end and floods everything. Not that I care at the moment, because it finally rained! Yay!

Every time that monstrous thunder exploded into my consciousness, I ended up thinking of my dog, Tippy. He passed away six years ago now, but when there was a thunderstorm going on, he'd start wimpering like a little baby, while trying to make himself look small while he hid in a corner, or on my lap, or anywhere where the 'monsters' couldn't get him. It was hard for him to look small too, as he was a labrador-great dane mix, a.k.a. a big dog. The only thing that scared him more than thunderstorms were balloons. I am not kidding, he would refuse to walk through a door if there was a balloon hanging on or near it, and his eyes would grow big as he slowly stepped away. He was such a scaredy-catdog, but I loved him. <3

Is it a bad sign when I can't even write about not being able to write? lol I thought so. When writing, I either end up as too vague or too specific, so I need to find myself a common ground. I am writing French entries on here to get better used to it, and to progressively correct my mistakes, so why can't I do it in English? I said yesterday that I would take time to write but I didn't, and I'm saying it again tonight. Firstly, I'll cook some dinner(boiled asparagus, beef, and hashbrowns for anyone who's wondering), read this week's installments of Bleach and Naruto(though no One Piece, as Oda's got a week off ;_;), and then sit down and write something. I'm thinking a backstory-like moment for one of my characters, Alessandra. She's an 'honourable thief' if you will, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor(to put it extremely simply, lol). She's also my only gay character presently, so I want to work with that a little bit more.

I have found nine random people on my 3DS' StreetPass now. Seven of them are guys, of which five have blue shirts, of which three have Kirby sitting on their head. How unoriginal can these people get? lol

I figured I have been missing out on a lot by not watching any Indian cinema(not to mention every other country's cinema, but right now I'm focusing on the subcontinent). I started initially with Slumdog Millionaire several years ago, and Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula several months ago. I loved both of them, particularly the love stories and of course the music. And recently I watched both Dhoom and Dhoom 2, more action-oriented movies than the other ones. But the second still had it's own romance themes, and I loved how it ended. <3 If anyone else here is a fan of Bollywood, do you have any suggestions for me? ^_^

Oh, and here's a promotional pic for Dhoom 2. My favourite was Hrithik Roshan, second from the right, for more than the obvious reasons. *_*

And since I'm on the topic, I'll use music from the movie too. =D
