Hola!

Jun 06, 2011 23:06

So, it's past two o'clock in the morning here and I'm still awake. Why is that? Well, one big reason is that I have the day off tomorrow and so I don't really have to worry about when I sleep, and the other reason? I'm not sleepy. lol

One of my co-workers is on vacation this week, so I'm getting more hours than usual. Which I do not mind at all, as ( Read more... )

It has been extremely hot here over the past few days, with temperatures in the mid-thirties, along with endless sun.
~ This sentence confused me for a while. I couldn't figure out why ANYONE would think of 30 degrees as hot. Then, I realized that's in Celsius not Fahrenheit. =_=

It's not much better here, actually. Right now, it's about 24 degrees which is nice. Then the sun rises, along with the humidity. It wasn't until last summer that I realized how awful it is when humid. How I missed that before, I don't know...

I agree with everything you said about the rain. The only way I can sleep is by listening to rain storms, (1) because it's a soothing sound and (2) it helps block Flint's ridiculous meowing.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. I'm just programmed to speak in metric. XD

Oh yes, I love sleeping through a rainstorm. It's so calming, and the outdoors is fresh-smelling when you wake up. That's about the only part of the summer I miss whenever winter rolls along.

Ah, wasn't it just last month that you posted how cold (or was it rainy?) the weather was. Those were the good old days. Now it's quite warm! :)

And ouch. So much to pay back for your loans. :(

Ugh I dislike that the most about German. I can understand it even in the weird grammar, but I can never remember how to write the nomative, dative, etc correctly in a sentence. >.< Good luck working on it! I should relearn my German this summer...

Yes I did. This is the time of year where we get all different sorts of weather, until it finally settles into long, hot days in mid-July. =/

I thought I had it all down, but I forgot again. Thanks! Good luck to you as well.

I absolutely love it when it rains and lucky for me it rained the past two days. I'm not a fan of the summer time. There's going to be a new Legend of Zelda game? Here in the UK they've started advertising The Oricana of Time for the DS3D.

Yep, besides Ocarina of Time 3D, there'll be a new Wii game this winter/spring.

Wanna switch locations? It's freezing here and it's been raining all day.

Lol, BoA, I used to like her, found her tedious then I discovered Ayumi Hamasaki and the wonders of gorgeous/pretty boy bands (be still my heart)

Yes, please! I love rain, especially with freezing temperatures! Haha I must've been a duck in a past life. XD

Oh, I like Ayumi too! Some boy bands aren't to bad either, haha.

It's so cold even the dogs refuse to get out of bed in the morning haha. It was so nice and sunny last week too!

Ayumi is gorgeous, and so talented. I'm not into those boy bands any more, but they are fun to reminisce about and look at ^^ hehe

Let's switch! I haven't seen the sun in over a week, and it's so foggy that when I'm at work, I can't even see the hills across the harbour. I'd give anything for sun, let alone warm weather!

Also, I remember the cases in languages by reciting this line from Alice in Wonderland:

Mouse (nominative)
Mouse (accusative)
Of a Mouse (genitive)
To a Mouse (dative)
O, Mouse! (vocative)

Okay, let's switch! I love the kind of weather you're describing actually, though I still may be feeling grim after experiencing it for a week.

Oh, great way to remember! I may just steal that from you! =D
