Hola!

So, it's past two o'clock in the morning here and I'm still awake. Why is that? Well, one big reason is that I have the day off tomorrow and so I don't really have to worry about when I sleep, and the other reason? I'm not sleepy. lol

One of my co-workers is on vacation this week, so I'm getting more hours than usual. Which I do not mind at all, as ( Read more... )

Oh student loans...

Luckily (or unluckily, depends how you look at it) I didn't qualify for government loans, so I had to go with a bank loan. I don't think they'll take auto-withdrawals from my account ever, as long as I continue to make my payments!

I hope you find an awesome job :)

Hey! Thanks, and glad your mate was amused. XD

Ah, lucky you. I was so hoping that it was going to rain today, but it just got more and more hot.

I thought I was alone on that too, actually. Nobody ever comments on the smell of fresh rainfall, but I love it. <3

Most people hate rain. Me, it depends. It's so nice in the evening. Feels so cold and relaxing listening to the raindrops outside. Even thunder makes me happy. But at daytime, it just makes me feel oh so lazy and bored. But I know one Korean friend who loves rain. Whenever it does, she drives her car anywhere then stops for a while and listens to its pitter patter.
I'm not really into Boa songs. Just reminds me that I have mistaken her for a Japanese way back in highschool (I think). I first saw her singing a Jap song anyway. :P

I didn't realize Ottawa could get that hot. It's rarely higher than 30 degrees. I thought last year's heatwave was unusual.

I find it appalling that's what is considered journalism today. Harper pulls so much shit and that's what people choose to report on. No wonder he won a majority.

It does get pretty hot, unfortunately. Fortunately it didn't happen the year before that, where we only had two, maybe three days of +30 weather before everything was cool again. <3

Heh, I definitely agree with you there. Frankly I'm ashamed of Canadians re-electing him. One of my co-workers keeps saying that Harper made Canada one of the few countries to make it through the economic crisis, but I say it's only because of all these irrational cuts, in addition to other countries simply doing a bad job independently of whatever's happening here. The only good thing Harper did was reduce the parliamentary term to four years, meaning we have one less year do deal with him. Heh.

Yeah, I'm ashamed of Canada too. I'm amazed by the sheer amount of apathy and ignorance in Canada. I swear they are only going to get dumber with Canada's version of Fox News. And Harper isn't even responsible for weathering us through the economic storm. The regulation done by the Liberals helped with that. If it were up to him, he probably would have gotten rid of them all.
