[When Vivi comes to her senses, she's in the forest, walking--really, 'wandering' would be more apt, since she has no idea how she got there, nor where she's going. Judging by the dirty state of her bare feet, she must have been at it for a while. Once she registers her surroundings, however, she stops short with a startled gasp. There's something

[If Vivi keeps walking she might hear a bit of singing. If she keeps walking she'll find Vash lounging against a tree with a pair of headphones on. Someone had found his old music player and is singing along to the music.]

[Vivi does begin to catch the sounds of someone singing, and makes a beeline for the source, though remaining cautious. When Vash comes into her view, she heaves a sigh of relief and breaks into a run toward him, cupping her hands around her mouth as she calls out:]

Vash-san!

[...yeah, good luck with that, Vivi. With his loud music and louder singing, the odds don't look good that he'll be able to hear her tiny voice. Realizing this, she tries waving her arms to get his attention, though she's not sure he's even looking the right direction to notice her.]

[Nope, his music is just a little too loud to hear tiny!Vivi. He's just going to keep quietly singing to himself.]

I've been a wild rover, for many a year! Spent all of my money on whiskey and beer! And now I'm returning with double dollars galore! And never will I play the wild rover no more!

[It doesn't take long to see this is a lost cause. Vivi gives up on trying to catch Vash's attention, concentrating instead on quickly getting closer. Once she's near, she hopes she'll be easier for him to notice.]

[...of course, the closer she gets, the bigger he seems. From afar, it wasn't quite as jarring, but now that she's only a few feet away from him, she realizes she must be even tinier than she'd guessed she was. Truth be told, it's a bit daunting. Still, it's Vash, and though things are still a little awkward between them, she knows she can trust him. She slows a bit, but keeps heading toward his feet, starting to wave her arms over her head again.]

[While Vivi is wandering the forest, she may hear running water nearby. If she nears the river she can see an outline of a man sitting up against a tree. There was a sword that had been stabbed into the ground in front of him, it's blade shined a most peculiar blue color. His attention though, seem to be on what he had in his hand.

A book full of written notes and he was constantly writing and changing things in it.]

That can't be right... [A strange glyph appears in front of the sword and its properties were changed somehow, because now the blade shown an emerald color. Sword light show anyone?]

[Vivi spies the figure near the river, and approaches cautiously. He's not anyone she recognizes, so she's not trying to attract his attention yet. For now she'll just move closer, trying to stay out of sight as she watches him.]

[She finds a good observation spot nearby, hiding behind a large, low-hanging leaf and peeking around the edge of it. What exactly is he doing?]

[He continues working, not realizing he has an audience now. He's playing around on the glyph, pondering quietly to himself. How was his sword able to function without any aer? Was it converted to something else upon arrival? If so, what was it using now? These were just some of thoughts running through his head as he fumbles with the codes on the glyph.

Suddenly the sword started to shine brightly, like it was overloading. Whatever he did, it didn't like it and soon releases what excess energy it had into a shockwave. It wasn't a huge shockwave or anything, more like a minor gust of wind. Though that was enough for Alexei to back off and let it return to its normal state. Vivi might feel that gust of wind as well as it passes.]

[The shockwave may have felt like just a minor gust of wind under normal circumstances, but at Vivi's current size, it's still enough to nearly knock her off her feet--especially since it took her by surprise. She lets out a small shriek as it nearly bowls her over, clutching the edges of the leaf tightly to stay upright.]

[It passes in a moment, and she freezes, wondering if she's drawn attention to herself. Slowly she peers around the edge of the leaf at the stranger, trying to see if he's noticed her.]

Lost!? Oh no!

Uwaaa... is there anything nearby? Can you see... uhm... anything distinct?

[[The teleportress can search for her all day with minimal walking!]]

[Not a voice Vivi recognizes, but she's grateful for the help. Landmarks might be a problem, though. She can't see much besides trees--enormous trees, from her perspective.]

I'm afraid not. I know I'm in the forest, but-- [She pauses, belatedly registering the faint sound of running water nearby. She'd gotten so used to the sound, she'd stopped hearing it amidst the soft rustling of the leaves.] Oh!

I think I may be near a river or stream.

Oh! That helps! [[And it's quiet for a moment, while she actually teleports there.]]

Uhm... I don't see you where I am now but... maybe if you call out, I can find you! I'll keep teleporting until I hear you!

Teleporting? [She's not really sure what Viki means by that, and there's still no one in view. Maybe she needs to get closer to the river first. She hurries in the direction of the sound of running water.]

I'll try to get to the river. I don't think I'm too far off. [Well, there's the other small problem, har har.] ...I may be a bit hard to notice.

Vivi--!! [Crap, it might be a little harder to find her without Nami here actually. But he has to try. Uuuh. Okay. What would Nami ask?]

Vivi, do you hear any running water nearby?

Luffy-san! [Oh, thank goodness. The relief in her voice is almost palpable. She sees what he's getting at right away.] I'm near a river, I think. But there's something else...

[...now how the heck does she explain this? Ah, well, it's Luffy. Short and to the point is probably best.]

I suppose this must be a Shift effect? But I'm a lot smaller than I should be right now. [pause] Tiny. [Please don't step on her. >.>]

You're smaller!? [The Malnosso ALWAYS had some kind of trick up their sleeve when sending his friends back it seems.] Hnnn. It's gonna be a pain to find you like that. Are you shorter than Chopper?

Mmhmm. [She sighs, nodding.] A lot smaller than Chopper. I'm sure I could fit in your hand the way I am right now.

[Action but maybe Voice too?]

[Still reluctant to form a team or anything like that, Kurt is just out in the woods with a soccer ball. He's not really practicing or anything, just getting some space to himself. Which leaves him reclining against a tree while he bounced the ball on an adjacent tree, lets the ball bounce back, and then catches it with his foot's monkey-like dexterity so he can repeat the process. He's practically running on automatic here, given he's leafing through the journal and barely paying attention.]

[The rhythmic sound of the soccer ball bouncing against a tree catches Vivi's attention--she's not sure exactly what the sound is, but it seems too regular to be natural. With luck, that means people who can help her. She starts heading in the direction she thinks it may be coming from, though at her current size, it may take some time. She quickens her pace a bit, hoping to get there before she misses her chance.]

[Kurt isn't going anywhere soon. He's got his headphones on for music and is enjoying his quiet time. He's pretty absorbed in what he's doing. Good luck getting his attention.]

[SEVERAL HOURS LATER...]

[The closer Vivi gets, the more unmistakable the sound becomes: it's someone bouncing a ball. She lets out a sigh of relief once she sees that someone is familiar, too. She cups her hands around her mouth and calls out to him, not having noticed the headphones.] Kurt-san! Over here!

[No reaction? Maybe she needs to get closer. She approaches from the side, not wanting to end up in the path of that soccer ball, waving one arm to try and catch his attention. ...there's got to be a better way to do this.]
