I could still be asleep, but the alarm went off, and when Nathan's fighting waking up, he takes up the whole bed. He rolls his hot little body (temperature wise) into the middle of the bed and tries to cuddle.

No thanks, you bastard. I could still be asleep. Instead, I woke up to your 6 o'clock alarm and who's still asleep at 6:33?

I was having trouble sleeping anyways, so it wasn't a big deal.

But...our A/C is in the living room, and at any rate, it's broken. So Xarr got a fan for the bedroom and opens the window at night. Any noises from outside sound like they're inside, even though we're on the 3rd floor.

At 5:30, a homeless guy's shopping cart rattles on the sidewalk. Even half-asleep, I identify it as such and barely blink. Xarr wakes up, sits bolt-upright in bed, and after a minutes, lies back down and goes back to sleep. Later this morning he told me that he was convinced someone was in the apartment, and he was listening for any further sounds to confirm this conviction, at which point he would grab one of his very pointy curvy fancy knives, and ATTACK the intruder. Naked, of course.

Gotta love men.
