Big spoilers under the cut for anyone who wants to squeal about the latest FMA chapter. :D I don't have an FMA icon (wut?!) so have a Fizzgig instead. :)
Needle rolls, huh? That sounds nifty! You're talking for knitting needles, I assume (since my sewing ends with the ability to make barely serviceable curtains)? I like, um... rich, dark colours, jewel tones. Green and purple are faves, though red, blue, and metallic tones are also good. Patterns... not flowers or leopard spots. :p I like ones you could describe as tribal, asian, leaves & vines (small flowers acceptable), or geometric; paisley or polka dots will do in a pinch. :)
Yeah they're for knitting needles! I've made two recently and I really like the way they're turning out. Granted, i'm doing them entirely by hand (I don't understand how to use the sewing machine, so I don't bother) but it'll get to you!
That gives me lots of room to pick fabric! I can't wait to go look for it tomorrow. :D
Wasn't that chapter just spot on? The tension, the sacrifice, the way Ed's arm came back into existence, his realisation of what that meant... gutting.
And let's not forget Mustang and Hawkeye's absolute trust and symbiosis.
Came across this fanart today, and it brought back all those misty eyes I had with the chapter.
I'm so looking forward to reading the finale. It's been such a great story, and yet I'm okay with it ending, because it feels right. Weird, huh? I guess that's what you get with a well-organized story.
Oh man, now I TOTALLY have to catch back up with FMA!! I saw a couple of really awesome cosplayers, but I totally missed the Al that everyone said was epic. I wanted to cry.
