TV talk - The Big Bang Theory

We just blew through all three seasons of The Big Bang Theory. What a fun show! It was similar to when we watched Avatar: The Last Airbender - funny half-hour episodes that you just gobble up like candy until they're all gone and you're looking around for more.

I really like all the guys, there's something endearing about them all even if you have to wade through a pile of neuroses or behavioural quirks. Or Howard's open perversion. :p

I saw that icon and I had to have it. I hadn't even thought about what sort of BBT icon I'd get (though I knew I'd eventually need one), but as soon as I saw it I knew. :D

I like to think of Sheldon as like, the puppy in the window.

It's so adorable and you must have it to cuddle, but then you get it home, and it chews your slippers and messes up the carpet. Then you just want to kick it.

I LOVE Big Bang Theory since onempty got me watching it! I love it and I looooove Sheldon.

I don't really ship Sheldon, I think he'd freak out over sex (hee, if you re-watch the pilot, the first few minutes didn't account for his character eventually being asexual).

Hee! I remember that bit at the start, oh yes indeedy. Yeah, I know it's absurd, but it's fun in that fannishly unrealistic sort of way. :)

I'm looking forward to seeing the fallout after last week's episode - DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUN!

I love The Big Bang Theory. The show just makes my mom sad though because it reminds her that she constantly feels left out when the rest of the family talks because we get super theoretical and nerdy to the nth degree. I always feel kind of sad because I have to explain some of the really nerdy jokes to other people. Ah well, still full of love for it though :)

Hee! I love the humour. I do get most of the jokes, but occasionally I have to look up stuff about particles and quantum theory (not being quite that hardcore of as science nerd, haha). Oh, and DC comics, since I'm a Marvel girl and only have the barest working knowledge of the DC universe. ;) (BBT needs more X-Men!)

I remember one ep where Penny had gone to the trouble to learn a physics joke and the guys thought it was totally unfunny - but I laughed. Hubby did not. *lame* ;)

I think I love this show because, while it is a sitcom, with all the inherent flaws, it's still interesting and different enough that the format doesn't make me sick of it. That happens a lot with 'ordinary' shows, and I'm glad that so far it hasn't happened with this one.
