I actually haven't had the opportunity to see/hear the wonders that I'm sure issued forth from our (and I shudder to have to use that word, "our") Commander-in-Chief... so don't spoil too much for me, but boy oh boy I can't wait. I also didn't get to see Obama tonight, so I'm not sure about his comments there.

On the other hand, if you're looking for some more decisive Obama-info... (though I'm sure you've seen sat least some of this before)

...and while I'm still personally pulling for Obama at the moment, I still have a lot of info to go over before making a final decision. I just really hope I can pull out a "pro-" vote instead of an "anti-
" decision.

Aww. Good thing I didn't bother watching the address. I'd rather not have to watch that, if anything I'll read the transcripts online. ;)

That bad, eh?

From somewhere on the internets:

This year, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address occur on the same day. As Air America Radio pointed out, "It is an ironic juxtaposition of events: one involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication while the other involves a groundhog."

Point One: I had only just finished watching the concise program that is Countdown and was waiting to see if the address would be worth watching. Well, when he started by giving himself and our country credit for making the world safer blah, blah, blah... I immediately changed the channel to Comedy Central and eagerly awaited more realistic news.

Point Two: If metal_dog5 finds the link for that hilarious comment, please forward it to me.

Point Three: Check out the blog of Jessica Valenti on The Nation where she talks about the Mexico City women-only buses. Some of the comments are too much!
