[The screen is dark for a moment, before the shroud - a hand - moves, flops aside. A white-clad shoulder shifts, a soft, sleepy mutter barely audible over the feed. The view is one from inside a croft, the sleeper just visible at the edge of the camera. He rolls onto his back, showing a mop of pale blond hair, but the angle is too awkward to see ( Read more... )

It's sure been awhile since I've had to welcome people here... let's see then...

I've heard this is an event that is messing with everyone's ages- but basically what you need to know is fairies brought you here. It sounds a little weird, but it's the truth!

An event messing with everyone's ages. [His tone is practically dripping skepticism, his expression only growing drier at the mention of faeries - but there's still a blatant, clear intrigue in his manner. He leans forward.]

Fairies have brought me here - as in, the ones children hear tales about.

That's true, it doesn't sound too weird though if you see one though, right?

[ Viktor will softly call to something nearby...and the little Pillywiggin living in his garden curiously flies into the view of the screen to shyly rest on his shoulder as he snaps a little daisy flower into existence for her to cuddle up to. ]

[...y e p that would be a fairy. And flowers appearing out of nowhere. And Schneizel is beginning to think he's gone totally off the deepend, but he certainly didn't think it's be quite like this.]

More believable - well, perhaps. Weird, though - I'm not sure it becomes any less that.

Why wait?

In a situation such as this, what else might one suggest?

Perhaps, if you were more bold, an attempt to escape.

In a wholly unfamiliar area, with no trace of anything friendly? Surely that would be foolhardy.

[...oh. Goodness. Another one.]

I don't think there's anything to wait for.

No? [He studies her openly - what else is there to do?]

I'd hate to think I was simply going to be left in the dark.

Hardly. What do you want to know?

Where I am, how I came to be here, why I'm here, what the price is - the usual, surely?

[Yosuke stares at the screen, completely taken aback.]

Schneizel?!

[And that's not just a title, that's his name. Coming from someone else who is Asian, no less - and again, it's not that Schneizel cares about that, but politics do, Britannia does.

He studies this boy - because he can't be much older then him, surely - before responding.]

That would be correct. Though it seems I'm at a loss.

[That studious look isn't good. He closes his eyes and sighs a little. First Aureln, now him?]

It's Yosuke... but that probably doesn't mean anything, huh?

Not particularly. [His eyes flick over him. There's something about this - Yosuke's manner that seems completely earnest, but Schneizel isn't quick to trust in that.] Should it?

You've been affected too, my Lord?

Affected? [That title again. Curious indeed.] By what, pray tell?

If I absolutely needed to give it a name... I would frankly call it magic.

...You'll forgive me, I hope, for finding that a little difficult to blindly accept.
