I always seem to be writing here only when I am down and to be honest at the moment I don't feel like I have that many reasons to be happy either

Sorry you're feeling down right now - sometimes the world seems like a horrid place, doesn't it...
Although I don't know exactly what's up with your knee, what about swimming, or cycling to exercise it, if you can't run/walk too much yet? When I mucked my knee up (good and proper!) the docs all recommended swimming and cycling because they exercise the muscles without putting too much strain anywhere...
well i had an accident during sports and i tore up just about everything that i could - LCA, meniscus, also there was some work necessary on my cartilage. Since you had problems with knees, you probably know what i am talking about

Sorry - I ran into a frantic bit of my life, and I'm very very late getting back here!
My knee did take a long time to get back in shape - but then I wasn't able to walk at all for nearly six months! It's still not perfect, the tendons are a bit wobbly, and it's full of pins and plates which makes it uncomfortable to kneel down on hard surfaces, but I can move it just as well as I used to, which is the main thing!
Know what you mean about indoor cycling boring you to death - it does me too, anything like that! But then I'm not very good at exercising anyway, whether it's indoors or outdoors... I hope your weather is getting better, and you can get out and about a bit more! What a shame about the swimming pools, that's so short-sighted of the government!
Saaa, it's all right, I am a little better in between. Not much, but getting there, at least I am not limping when I am walking. I was operated 8 months ago, so I ad absolutely no real exercise approximately that long. I know what you mean it feels wobbly. I have mostly pins inside, but that's enough, i hate kneeling, the scar runs just in the place where you kneel, so it's not really painful, but kind of....painfully uncomfortable. i guess you know what I mean.
The weather.....is not muchy better but I am starting tennis soon and that makes me much more happy. I tried once and it went better than i expected. And concerning our government, they are damned stupid and I am ashamed of them, but at least I didn't vote for them, as usally, few intellectuals were overpowerd by stupid majority :))
thanks, that's all i need at the moment. i am surprised my own mother doesn't understand that and my friends i have actually never met do...makes you kind of thinking... Thank you.
