"Yeah. Well." Linkara dropped his head, staring at his hands. "That doesn't help how I'm feeling right now." "...you don't believe me." Marzgurl crossed her arms, looking away. Her voice was low and tight. "You think I'm cheating on you, when you spent every waking moment with your tongue down Spoony's throat - " "We discussed that," Linkara interrupted hotly. "We had an agreement. You never said word one to me about Film Brain." "Because I wasn't planning on kissing him!" Marzgurl exploded, throwing her arms up and glaring at Linkara. "It just happened, and it won't again. I don't love him," she said bluntly. "I love you." Linkara was silent. Marzgurl's face twisted into a frown. "...this is where you say 'I love you, too, Marzgurl'." Linkara didn't say anything, didn't look at her. She swallowed hard. When she spoke it was quiet, more of a breath than a word. "Oh." Without another word, she collected her things and left.
