sounds like you had a great summer! You read Cat's Cradle? Kurt Vonnegut is a wacky guy. I just checked out two of his books from the library this afternoon: a collection of asofyet unpublished short stories, and Breakfast of Champions. The latter seems hilarious. I would highly recommend Anna Karenina, which I'm reading currently, but it's super long (maybe longer than War and Peace). How bout the Brothers Karamazov, if you haven't read it already? But perhaps you're not into Slavic lit. In which case I'm rambling on. Anyways, Rushdie's Midnight children is supposed to be a true modern day classic. And if you want to blow your brains with mind boggling complexity, read the last chapter (sentence) of Ulysses! So there are my reading suggestions! Sorry if they were a bit (over)long. Have fun!
