Reader rant ahoy. I have to warn you, though. It's that time of the month.

Been a while since my last Bracelet update and there's a perfectly good explanation for that.

I. Am. Turned. OFF!!

By no means by the story but by the readers. Some of them, in any case. Not all of you, obviously.

Here's why:

GTFO if you're just going to get butthurt! )

!!!, go fly a kite, facepalm, pet peeves, nagging, ficcing, ffnet, sequel, ..., the bracelet, idiots, rant, wank, fandom

WHO ARE THEY?! LET ME SLAP THEM FOR YOU!!

They need to understand it's your fic, not theirs.

Yeah. I'm all for helpful pointers but some people truly cross the line.

Thanks for commiserating ;)

Listen, I completely empathize. I nearly PM'd you the other day because I fucking losing my mind from the most annoying posts on my short story from readers who kept saying that it was....wait for it....to SHORT. What part of it's a short story and I challenged myself to write a fic in a certain number of words in a certain amount of chapter is hard to understand. DID I NOT WRITE IN ENGLISH ( ... )

Do feel free to PM or even e-mail me but be warned that I'm often crap at responding in a timely fashion. I'm marginally better if you should catch me on gchat or something. XD I try but... idk. Never been good at correspondence ( ... )

*just. hugs.*

Good lord, I don't blame you for losing inspiration. If I got that kind of crap in my inbox - ugh.

I'm glad I don't write long pairing fic in this fandom. Or possibly any fandom.

This is an epic rant. I'm in awe, truly. :D

Draco does NOT have the exclusive right to her vagina BEFORE SHE'S EVEN FUCKING INTERESTED IN HIM!

Are people still mad that Draco didn't get to pop the freshness seal off Hermione's Pringle can? :(

I'm glad I'm not a writer, because I truly could not deal with the misogyny in fandom. It irritates me enough as a reader.

It's been a while. I was bound to explode into a lot of f-bombs soon. XD

Hahaha. Yeah, apparently so. I do love your wording, btw. Mmmm... chips.

And I know misogyny bugs you. All I can say is: don't read my reviews. You'll blow a fuse.

I'm sorry that there are so many whiny fantards in HP fandom. It's pathetic that they're trolling you and trying to dictate how the story should go. If they don't like it, they can say that in a concritical way. Not whine and gripe about every little thing. It's one thing to "hope you'll update soon." It's another thing entirely to hassle you for updates and demand it like they're entitled to your words. Hope this rant got some of the anger off your chest and you're feeling better. Hang in there!

Yeah, concrit can sting (or sometimes even burn if delivered from someone whose opinion I value) but it wouldn't offend and ultimately it could help me get better.

I do feel better. :) A few f-bombs always worked wonder with my fandom-related stress. ;) Alas, the people in question are hardly going to actually read this and correct their Evil Ways(TM) and the thought of making another A/N about this is very off-putting.

Anyhoo, thanks :)

Maybe I should begin to answer demands with "that sounds like an interesting idea, you should write that. Just don't associate it with MY story."

And then if they asked me to read it then I could get petty... cuz let's face it, it would never be good. The good writers are out there writing their own stories, not making demands on mine. At the very least, they know enough about how difficult it IS to write a story not to make demands. ;)
