Thank you =) Yeah, I think it's more interesting to see the good AND bad than just squees. It's more likely to get me reading stuff tbh :D

I don't know about traditional boarding schools in Britain, but I know that they don't kick students out for being pregnant here. You just sort of can't live there with a baby.

The shared common room thing seems to be fanon. I think some authors treat it intelligently though (e.g. with hidden entrances from their respective common rooms... space CAN be warped with magic after all), but yeah... it was something I was aware of being overused when I wrote Bracelet lol. But I gave them single rooms, which is also not canon (as in: we don't know but I don't think so) ;)
