I am a little bit excited. We're FINALLY getting around to going shopping today (on a Saturday, yippee for huge crowds) and I'm going to be looking at mini laptops. Or netbooks. Or whatever you want to call them. :P ( Read more... )

Gadgets are FUN!

But, eh, I think I might prefer the black. Although the white is ok.

Hey :)

I think it's actually up towards €430. I think it's because we have a pretty heavy sales tax up here. Unfortunately, I'm not comfortable with buying a computer from abroad for mainly two reasons: 1) If something goes wrong, it's expensive and troublesome to ship it internationally. :S 2) In Danish we have the letters Æ/æ, Ø/ø and Å/å and I sort of need those on my keyboard. If those things didn't matter, it would have been superb, though.

Glad to hear that someone else likes it. =) Personal opinion beats those tests any day.

Be warned, once you've had a Netbook you'll pout if you ever have to back to a big clunky laptop. I have a Samsung NC10, and it's wonderful (really good battery life too, about 8 hours for using word, 7 for internet browsing, and four if I'm streaming video.)

I heard that the Samsung NC10 was also awesome and then I looked for it in a few of the netbook webshops and... nada. I don't think it made it to Denmark yet. I think the MSI Wind U100 will do nicely, though. Maybe not 8 hours on battery, but then again, it's a relatively "big" machine (if I'd gone for smaller processor, SSD etc, I could have gotten a machine that would run longer on battery, but I think it's physically impossible for me to do that). Ba-guh. Pros and cons with everything. =)

And I'm so ready to become addicted. BRING it! XD
