Today I had a fitting for a movie I'm working on in a couple of weeks, "J. Edgar." It's about J. Edgar Hoover (duh) and so we had to be fitted in period outfits from the 1930's. So much fun! I can't wait for the shoot. Hopefully I'll be able to get someone to take a picture of me in costume, since I doubt I'll be visible in the crowd

I know! Let me clear my desk here a little, then I'll get on IM. Though it might be a little late now for you, but I should be on tomorrow evening.

I saw the HIMYM episode!
here's another stupid question.... has cutting your hair been a boon to extra work in any way that you can tell? I would have thought long hair would be more flexible and therefor usable, but now I think maybe that just works for the featureds.

Also not a stupid question. =P As far as background, I don't think it's really helped or hurt me. There are times they specifically want longer hair for one reason or another, but almost everything is modern day and wants variety, so short and long hair both work. I do miss the flexibility of long hair, though, and I also do think it's advantageous when you're going for principal work (roles with lines and names and stuff). Mine is growing out, but not as quickly as I'd like.
J. Edgar did call specifically for hair of shoulder length or shorter, though, so that's one example of when it was a boon! The hair department didn't touch it today. They loved the length it's at.

So do I! Both for the fun of being on the actual set (being in the Jeffersonian was such a fangirl experience, I was hard put-upon not to start squeeing in a very unprofessional manner) and for the fact that I don't have to go out of my way to find out when the episode is airing, because I'm already planning to watch it. ^_~

Also, if you're ordering these by how difficult it is to see and/or recognize you, HIMYM should have definitely gone in the Beginner section. It's possibly the only one I spotted you in without coaching. (Well, that and the Virgin Mobile commercial.) :D
Looking forward to the next installment!

As I said earlier, I decided to rank HIMYM based on the fact that it was dark and there were a lot of people in the scene. (Also I'm pretty sure I told both you and Jessie that I was right in front of Ted and his date, so that probably helped.) The Metropolitan Water commercial was probably even easier than HIMYM... if you could get your hands on the commercial.
I dunno, I suppose my standards are fairly arbitrary. It's more a way to not stuff twenty pictures in one post than anything else. =P
