The Ax Has Finally Dropped
Well after three years of dodging the ax at work it's finally fallen. My magazine got sold and my sweet ass was not part of the deal. Meh. I'm almost giddy with relief. Why do I fail so hard?
I'm a writer. Woo hoo big surprise like 3/4 of the people on the internet aren't. I've never completed anything longer than a ficlet. I dabble in fanfic but recently have been compelled to start my own original. No biggie. I feel cheated
So I'm still deep into the BDB obsession. Lover Awakened was so sweet and touching I almost cried at the end. When Z wrote "I love you" to Bella I died. Just died. Their romance and courtship was epic. Lover Revealed I slugged through because I knew Vishous' story was coming up next and it had to be epic right? What in the hell took me so long?
I just finished Lover Eternal Book 2 out of the Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward. Holy fucking shit. TL;DR? It rocked. How hard did it rock? Let's back this train up. See, I'd gotten Dark Lover (book one) from the library a few weeks ago. Never got past the first fifty or so pages. I dunno, nothing about the two lovers struck me as interesting. ( Read more... )
