First day of school and I made it through alive. Today I have my "BASIC PHOTOG" class. I have looked at the syllabus and it looks like it will be good stuff. Photo shooting "field trips" and photo assignments and critiques. Good stuff indeed. Ill report after class tonite.        

Tonite I am going to go shoot something. I dont know what yet, but my camera is collecting dust and I have no plans for the evening. If I can get a "model" (aka a bored friend), I have some shots I wanna try to take down at this old papermill before they tear it down. Through DPChallenge.com I picked up a PT-04 wireless flash trigger and receiver for $25. Originally the seller was selling 2 of them, and I snagged 1. The person who bought the other one backed out on the deal, but told the guy just to keep the money and to send the 2nd one to whoever bought the first one. Weird right? I think I am definitely at the point where I need to find a model to shoot. I am starting to get bored with what im shooting now (which is static things, still lifes, landscapes, etc) and need to start interacting people before I get stale. Here is the 3rd shot in the fork series. I like it. The accessories came from the Mezco Cristobal Griffin Family Guy set. This was shot in raw, then added a texture to the background, and added the border.
