It's been an interesting two years ....

I was reading Post Secret this morning and noticed there was a bit abotu another blog called 1000 Awesome Things that was shutting down.  I liked the description and went to check it out while it was still open and I'm enjoying poking around ... however, the thing that made me laugh and want to share all this was that the entry when I hit the link ( Read more... )

I'm in a strangely good mood today.

Strange in that I can think of several reasons for it to be a normal day or, even a bit of a down day, but it's not, instead it's exactly the opposite.  It's so good I keep thinking I wish I could bottle a good day like this and save it for future use.

So apparently tomorrow is the predicted day for the rapture.  I wasn't aware until twitter and the Internet began to mock it with Facebook events for post-Rapture lootings.  All in all, rather funny, however, there was a tweet about it today which cause my eye.  I suppose this isn't exactly a new thought, or even rapture specific if you think about ( Read more... )

Sept 11, 2001 was on a Tuesday.  I remember because I had class later in the day and had slept in.  I woke up and checked my email and found a note from the professor saying class was cancelled due to the tragedy in New York.  "Huh.  I wonder what's going on?"  I open the web browser and try to load MSNBC.  Waiting ... waiting ... waiting ... page ( Read more... )

I got up this morning and was checking PostSecret and found this Valentine's Day video and wanted to share.

I like the song they used.  I think the postcard that's just a candy heart that says "Be Mine" and has handwritten next to it "Nothing more. Nothing Less" is my favorite card.
