Spent the past few hours watching the Live8 concerts... I found them kind of underwhelming but that's probably because the channel I was watching kept switching between the different concerts. I did enjoy McCartney, the Scissor Sisters and Robbie Williams from those that I saw, and perved over Jon Bon Jovi ( Read more... )

Oh yes, I saw this exhibition in Oslo three years ago - marvellous.
Do you remember the guy's name? It was something Dutch, if I'm not mistaken - Dutch or German...? I've been searching or these pics online for some time, you see. ;) So thanks.

Oh, yeah, that dude. My parents became fans of his after seeing an exhibition of his work in a park in Amsterdam. We have a calendar of his from last year that we still keep up due to awesomeness.

I haven't read HP fics in so long, and now that you reminded me, I miss reading Across A Wizard's Heart! I'm going to read it as soon as I'm back home (in a hotel right now), and then I'm going to squee about it. :D

I saw an exhibition of photos by Arthus-Bertrand in London -- it was outside the Natural History Museum, and I ended up even more impressed by Arthus-Bertrand's photos than by the museum itself.
I remember that my favourite one was of cloth dyes in various colours in large basins, shot -- I think -- in Egypt or Morocco.
