I loved this. I am on an intense Mystrade kick. One conversatoin but it packed in so much about their growing relationship.

Realistic dialogue and lots of juicy details.

Smart and sweet and funny just like Greg. :)

I really like this. Lestrade would not be one to suffers fools gladly. His instincts to protect Mycroft are subtly highlighted here, while at the same time not demanding answers.

What a way to battle writers block! I loved this, especially the part towards the end about Mycroft letting his guard down, and Greg realizing it! That is just how I imagine Greg to be around him, a bit insecure to start with, but once he gets there it vanishes, leaving certainty and a fierce protective streak behind.

And hey, if you need someone to discuss ideas with I'm all for it, I truly think you've got them down, so it wouldn't be hardship at all.
