I'm re-watching season 1 of Supernatural with my friend, Ellen (who was the first to really introduce me to the show).  We're watching "Asylum" right now.  It reminds me of why I am such a die hard Dean fan.  Sam has his strong points, and I can understand how people would love him.  I just happen to love Dean more.

My week was pretty good.  I am ( Read more... )

*sigh* I used to be able to participate in group tube time...well, not supernatural, but still. I'm glad you and Ellen can find the time to hang out. Occasional hang out time is essential to surviving grad school.

That's interesting about the observing kids. I can never tell what development level is "normal" for a child at a particular age. I just remember this one time I was helping SiddyQ babysit a herd of kids, and I was having an argument with an extremely precocious little girl about whether a chimera was a dragon or not. Her book said it was--her book was wrong.

Will you be doing more kinds of these observations, but with different age groups, or kind of target groups?

I have to observe a stranger in a public place and write a one page paper on it before Tuesday. Then I have child observations next week and in three weeks. One observation will be of preschoolers(36-59 months old), and the other will be of infants (newborn to 16 months old). I also have to observe and write about a child age 5-10 and a teenager age 12 to age 19. Then I have to observe and do a presentation on someone in their 40s. :) There is lots of observing in my Lifespan Development class.

Aw! Supernatural Season One. *Sniff* I still haven't finished the season. It's just not the same without you and Kara.

Yay for Child Dev! Glad to hear you had fun.

That bible sounds AMAZING. How are the devotions in it?
