I like this take on the Buffy saga. It's a good way to include the movie, and explain why Pike is never heard from again.

Thank you. :) It's always been my sort of personal canon that something must have happened to Pike before the start of the tv series. I think it explains why Buffy was so against slaying again in the pilot episode.
