The original idea behind the president being the Commander in Chief is that ultimate authority over the military is in civilian hands, not military ones. Not that this is a support message for Obama. I really have little concern for this rat race.

Not every leader we've had has been in the military. but ya know you can only go with the flow. and we'll see where it leads. better than havig a crazy like Palin in office. though where the heck was the McCain through out the whole thing? I mean even his speech was awesome. where was that guy? I might have voted for him. lol

I hope you had a good birthday. We have the Wii and I enjoy kicking Chad's ass on the bowling too. Funny as I can't bowl for real AT ALL! lol

Oh..and I'm so with you on the Obama thing!!!!! I was disgusted. Still am actually. Like you said, shouldn't take too long though before everyone else is too.
