bday...
So, here I am on my bday, watching Obama (most likely) win the election. Bummer.... oh well, probably won't be too long before I get to say, "told you so." And I will, too. Wouldn't be so bad if he didn't just scare the heck out of me. I don't get how someone w/ no military experience can be the Commander and Chief, but whatever.. we'll see. I just hope it doesn't take long to see that wealth he's supposed to be spreading.
Worked half the day today, left at noon. Came home and opened my gifts, got some rockin elephant loot. Then we went and had lunch at this Mexican place he'd been wanting me to try. It was good, but it wasn't any Berryhill. After that we wandered around Best Buy for awhile. I tried to talk Richard into buying a Wii, but he wasn't being persuaded by my feminine charms. I ended up going and buying my own Wii. It's my bday and x-mas present to myself, but I've been wanting one for awhile and apparantly my youth and charm are no longer getting me anywhere. :)Got home and unpacked the wii, played a little Mario Galaxy, kicked my husband's ass a couple times at bowling and golf, and now it's about over.
