Well, I'm home! And I'm doing an MA in the area of English I love the most, with Professor Gorgeous McSwoonypants, and my brother's home from a music festival, and I'm home and did I mention I'm home?

I am happy because my mom is here, and my BROTHER IS GETTING MARRIED, and I get to surprise him and Amber with my AWESOME PAINTING on Friday and also Anna will be there. :D

I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better! And glad that Jac is taking care of you so well-- give her a hug from me :)

As for me... um, my boyfriend is kind of brilliant and wonderful and all hearts and puppies. The weather has been nice, not all DOOM DOM RAIN AND THUNDER like it's been the past few weeks. Still no job but a good lead or two, and I'm pretty optimistic. And um... I dunno. I am just kind of filled with love lately, you know?

I sort of was a bit of a crap patient. Not because I'm BAD, but because I kept trying to do things for myself so that he didn't have to do them. Because I'm not USED to someone who's not family wanted to do that stuff for me. He says I should stop being so hard on myself and let myself have weaknesses. I'm trying!

Optimistic is good. Don't let it get you down, honey!

The way that, if you stand in the shade of the trees on the bank, the sun refracting into the mineral-laden waters of Bled make it seem like the whole lake is filled with blue raspberry slush puppy. That, and the fact that the whole area (practically the whole country) looks like the back drop for one of those gorgeous fairy tales, something sweet like burnt sugar and salted caramel.
