Dexter season finale. *flounces*

Shark, jump, etc. I'm conflicted. Just when I thought this season couldn't be any shittier, they took it to a whole 'nother level. Idk idk. I think it's time I ~let go~ of this show. It's been a fun ride, but it's gotten so fucking ridiculous I can't watch it without seriously facepalming and/or raging.

It's disgusting how the writers did ..that ( Read more... )

The finale was awful, and it left me feeling so uneasy. Though, I won't lie, I was hoping they would end this season and it be the last. This season was worlds better than last season, imo but I don't want them to keep going and it ruin Dexter completely for me. I don't even know how they're going to do next season, what Dexter-daycare? It's going to be a bit ridiculous.

I can't really see the direction of the show going anywhere else. The show is not going to end happy, so I feel like something like this kind of needed to happen eventually.

*shrug* Understand how you feel, though. I've had shows I've given up on, too.

I don't know. I didn't watch this season, but when I found out the ~drama~ between Dexter and Trinity, and then Trinity's MO, I thought, "Oh, I bet they're gonna kill off Rita. It just makes sense." So. At least the ending was somewhat predictable, though it hurts in more than one way.

first of all. Killing Rita that way is just too DARK and cruel IMO!

Aww. I've been hearing amazing things about the finale -- I'm behind several episodes and haven't caught up yet, so I'm avoiding spoilers -- but everyone I know has been saying that this season ended at the same level of awesome as season one. I'll be interested to see how I react to it once I see it.
