Shark, jump, etc. I'm conflicted. Just when I thought this season couldn't be any shittier, they took it to a whole 'nother level. Idk idk. I think it's time I ~let go~ of this show. It's been a fun ride, but it's gotten so fucking ridiculous I can't watch it without seriously facepalming and/or raging.

The anti-climax that was Dex killing Trinity, but mostly KILLING OFF RITA. I don't even. She's so important to the show, and the writers are fucking cunts of getting rid of Julie Benz in this manner. They didn't even plan to kill her off either, and they only did it for shock value. If a tv show wants to piss me off, doing something solely to shock the audience is the way to do it. I'm so disappointed..this entire season sucked and Rita being murdered OFF FUCKING SCREEN is the proverbial icing on the cake.

It also ruins my ideal ending of the show I had in mind ;p

I'm sure I'll check out season 5, but I am so over the show. I've been stanning for it since '06, and I love how dark and controversial it can be, but this? Hell no, not what I signed up for.

i concur. was lame of them killing her off & leaving dexter to pick up the pieces when he was trying so hard not to have his life shattered into a thousand pieces, but i'm thinking she'll probably be back just like harry - who's seriously beginning to annoy the ever living hell out of me, for the record.

OMG DON'T TEMPT ME WITH THAT .GIF. Guhhhhhhhh. I don't think I'll ever be able to fully quit watching lol, it's like a ~drug~.

Ghost!Harry needs to GTFO. Like, the first couple of times were cool, but now he's just popping up during random moments haha. I read in an interview they're not doing the Ghost!Rita thing, but that might change.

I haven't watched the finale, I stopped watching halfway thru the season out of laziness, but I was spoiled via Twitter/ONTD so idk if I feel like continuing to watch. It seems like people are really conflicted.

Doakes :( the first two seasons were so good.

Mm, this season had a couple of exciting moments, it started off pretty well imo but I wouldn't really recommend it or anything.

Awww, I'm sorry you haven't been happy with the show lately. =(

I personally loved this season, I thought it almost rivaled the first. It was especially nice since season 3 was completely shit-tacular to me.

But yeah, killing Rita was pretty much a desperate attempt at finding new things to write about. With Rita dead, a whole bunch of shit is going to be shook up next season. I'm actually kind of interested as t where they will go from here, but I'm soooo damn devastated that they killed Rita like that. I almost cried. lol I always liked Rita, even though she was kind of grating on my nerves this season.
