For Doyle it had been a long day as well filled with not one, not two, but Three! Yes three visions of doom and gloom. He had handled the first by himself and shuffled the other over to Captain Broody. It was still completely strange to him to be able to talk to all these people and be accepted. Namely when he now was more bothered with himself then every before ( ... )

Doyle's disappearance had bothered her. More than she would have liked to admit. Angel had brushed it off as Doyle being Doyle. He was as loyal as they came, but he was probably hiding from someone. But it bothered Fred. She'd built up a life. It was stable, and if people could just disappear from it.... well she didn't want to think about it.

She hadn't known of his return either, having been gone most of the day. At the mention of the demon, Fred flipped the page before the accent registered. She dropped the book and ran to him.

"Doyle! Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes."

He had not excpected a big reaction from anyone from his disappering, thought part of him did expect to get a little bit of grief from at least one or two people about not calling and checking in and letting them know he was still kicking.

When Fred dropped the book the Irishman opened his arms a bit and pulled her into a hug as soon as she was in close enough range, he gave a bit of a grin after he had squeezed the girl once and looked at her.

"That's mighty kind of you, I was gonna say the same but you beat me too it."

She hugged him back, glad he'd returned. Smiling she pulled back, inspecting him. "You're okay, right?" The worry was in her voice no matter how happy she was to see him. People didn't just disappear without good reason.

"Where've ya been? I was worried. Even contacted a few demons. No one saw you." She frowned.
