To say it'd been a long day was an understatement. Fred was exhausted. After a hell beast had attacked some poor elderly couple, claiming they lived on sacred burial grounds. After that Fred and Gunna staked out the home of a notorious demon slave trader, and finally there was some time at the end of the day for tacos and ancient texts.
Fred paced the floor of the Hyperion with her book out. She wasn't as skilled as Wesley at this, but she tried. "Isn't a Haklar demon!" She bellowed through the lobby before putting her nose in the book once more.
