the deal 02.
Akame, (Ryoda)
R; Romance, Humor, Angst, Friendship
Jin is a singer and he desperately needs a dancer for his upcoming show. Kame is a dancer and he has some trouble with bad guys. The two meet and hate each other but they have no other choice so they make a deal.

You mind your own business and I don't butt in yours

“Aka…”, Kame groaned as he hit his head onto the pillow, “…nishi.” He slowly opened one eye, then the other only to close them immediately as the light blinded him. “Ah… Headache…”, he whined then added “And my ears are ringing…”, he rolled to his other side and pulled the blanket over his head. The sound in his ears became quieter, only that’s why he realized that it is not his ears that are ringing but his cellphone. He slipped down from the bed and started crawling on the floor looking for his phone. When he found it, he flipped it open and just lay down on the floor as he ran out of energy.

“Who dares to disturb my beauty sleep especially when I’m suffering from hangover?”, he mumbled to the caller, whoever it may be.

“Kame, I knew you forgot”, a more sober and very much more awaken voice giggled on the other end of the line.

“Tat-chan…”, Kame said slowly when he recognized his friend’s voice almost one minute later. “What… what did I for…get?”, he managed to utter, still fighting against the urge to fall asleep on the carpet.

“You don’t remember? Ah, come on… what happened last night? A deal. Does it sound familiar?”, Ueda asked in an amused tone and waited.

Kame shut his eyes closely and tried to think.

Today he has a hangover, that’s clear… but… ok, think, think! Last night…ok, so last night... let’s see. Beer… vodka… brown eyes… dark hair… arrogant laughter… angry and annoying voice… manly and handsome features… warm hands… the deal… AAAH!!!

But he was not able to say it out loud. No intelligent answer formed on his lips so he blurted out the only word that came into his mind, the second time this morning (though the first time he was practically unconscious so that didn’t count).

“Akanishi”

“Bingo!”, Ueda replied, “And you have half an hour to arrive there. The address is in the back pocket of your jeans”, he added because he was quite sure that the boy would need two more minutes to start panicking and then he would drop the phone and wouldn’t listen to any friendly words.

“Tat-chan…”, Kame started very slowly but he couldn’t organize his thoughts.

“Kame, listen. I don’t really know why you agreed to take part in a drinking contest…”

“I…”

“…but I’m kind of happy now because, you know, you’re in trouble, my friend. The only chance you have is the deal you made with Akanishi …”

“Tat-…”, Kame started again but he realized he has to wait for his friend to finish his ranting.

“…so you have to wake up now and…” Ueda stopped abruptly then he said in a completely different tone, hurriedly and nervously “Kame, I’m sorry… I have to go… sorry… call you la...” He hung up before he even finished the sentence.

Kame stared at the phone wondering what could have happened to Ueda then he shut his eyes for a moment and mumbled “Akanishi… Akanishi… it does ring a bell.” He giggled a bit remembering the man’s angry face then he suddenly opened his eyes widely and lifted his head from the floor. “THAT Akanishi???” he shouted and jumped up with a spinning head and numb limbs and then started panicking, exactly the way his best friend knew he would.

ӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿ

Kame was running. As fast as he could. But this time there was noone chasing him, he was just simply late.

After he finished panicking and managed to take a shower and dress up, he was already fifteen minutes late and that arrogant, annoying, Mr. So-Popular-And-Super-Famous Akanishi Jin seemed to have chosen to live in the farest part of the town. The man was even more repulsive in Kame’s eyes now, after he finally recognized the singer.

Akanishi Jin, the famous idol, the talented singer and sexy dancer, actor, model, and who the hell knows what else. And of course the perfect man whom every woman (and a lot of men maybe) craves for.

Kame groaned loudly at the thought and missed the gate he was supposed to find an hour ago. When he realized, he stopped then started jogging backwards after he reached the big gates which consisted of thick, painted and heavily decorated bars. When he lifted his hand to ring, his hands remained in the air and all he could do was to stare at the enormous and absolutely gorgeous building.

“Wow… that’s…”, Kame closed his mouth which he left open until now then mumbled “and I didn’t understand why we don’t meet at the place where we’re gonna practice, but I get it now! You wanted to show me where you live, didn’t you, Mr. Super Idol? You wanted to show me how influential and rich you are so I can know my place and you’re gonna be the boss.” Kame’s eyes narrowed, “but don’t expect me to surrender that easily, Akanishi, haha!”, Kame giggled with satisfaction and evil plans started to form in his mind immediately. “Baka Akanishi”, he mumbled for himself “BakaAkanishi, Ba… Bakanishi!!”, he burst out laughing and he felt very proud of his own creativity “Bakanishi, hahaha, that’s it!! This is your new nickname, baka! I like it!”, he smirked as he finally pushed the little golden button and the gate spread open a moment later.

ӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿ

Jin was nervous. He was stomping his feet on the carpet and was cursing non-stop.

“Damn it, Kamenashi, you asshole!”

“Take it easy, Jin, I’m sure he had a terrible hangover when he woke up.”, a young man said then he sighed and leaned in to look at the angry man in the eyes “at least you could have asked for his number, don’t you think?”

“Whaaat? Are you saying that it is my fault that this nerve-racking stupid nerd is being late?”, Jin shouted.

“Of course not, but I’m wondering whether he even remembers what happened last night”, the man said and he walked a bit further to avoid the other man’s gaze.

Jin lay down on the sofa. He was wondering how long he has to wait for Kamenashi. He smiled when he recalled the young boy’s face when he lost the drinking contest. He was annoying and loud but kind of entertaining. If Jin wanted to be entertained by laughing at an idiot, of course. No other reason. Then he returned to the present and felt anger boiling up in his body.

“AAAAHHH!! I’m gonna kill him!”, he said and decided, if the boy shows up, he is so going to make it clear for him who the boss is.

“I should have punched him last night, when I had the possibility”, he said to himself then he jumped up from the sofa and started walking furiously.

“Jin, calm down, for god’s sake! Let’s start, what do you say?”, asked the other man and when Jin turned to him to nod in agreement with a much calmer state of mind, the bell rang and all the tranquillity that Jin regained by now left him again in a split second.

ӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿ

“You’re so annoying, Akanishi!”

“And you’re so dead, Kamenashi! Where the hell have you been?”

“I got lost, ok?”, the younger boy yelled. Jin raised his eyebrow but before he could answer something witty Kame added “by the way, why did I have to come to your fucking luxurious castle? Why didn’t we meet where we’re gonna practice?” Kame asked as he was staring at the other man, not that he could turn his gaze away, because Akanishi looked gorgeous. He was wearing black pants and a sleeveless grey shirt that left his muscular arms to be seen. Kame gulped hard and was trying to keep his gaze on the brown orbs which were not less admirable than any other part of the idol’s body.

Akanishi chuckled mockingly. “We’re gonna practice here, you smart ass.”

“Huh?”, Kame yelled. He turned to look around and his jaw dropped. “What the…”

The room was extremely large, with a black dance carpet on the floor and huge mirrors everywhere. There was a big sofa and comfortable chairs at the other end of the room along with a fridge filled with numberless bottles of water. The loudspeakers and the microphones were the most mordern ones. This was what all dancers dream about, Kame thought. Even the temperature was perfect.

“Like it?”, Jin asked smirking and he felt kind of satisfied that the boy was so impressed.

“Not at all”, Kame said immediately and then he shouted out loud. “Wow, don’t tell me that these are…” he pointed on the wall where numerous discs were hanging in pretty frames and behind shiny glass.

“Yeah, Jin is really proud of all he has achieved in the entertainment business. Those discs show how successful he is, even if it is annoying sometimes” the other man said who Kame has never met before.

“Kamenashi, this is my partner and friend, Tanaka Koki”, Jin said.

Koki streched his hands and smiled at the young boy, who smiled back then he looked confused. “And where are the other dancers?”

“There are no other dancers. For this concert I’m working with two dancers. Koki is one and you are supposed to be the other.”, Jin explained.

Kame was surprised but nodded. Everytime he caught a glance on the television of the great Akanishi Jin performing his sexy and melodious songs, he was singing and dancing with at least a dozen of professional dancers. Kame was curious what made him change his mind but he didn’t have the time to think about it any further as Jin picked up the remote control and signed Kame to move in the middle of the room.

“Before we start with the choreography I wanna see what you are capable of, so get ready for showing something to me. Everything depends on this”, Jin flashed an evil smile and Kame wanted to wipe it off with a straight right punch but he decided to simply smirk back. “I wanna see some acrobatic and regular dance moves. I’d like to see if you have any sense of rhythm or stamina. So you have to dance for thirty minutes without taking a break. The songs have a pretty fast rhythm so warm up and let’s not waste any more time”, Jin finished, obviously feeling at ease to be in a position to order about the young boy.

Kame just rolled his eyes then walked away from the man and started warming up.

ӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿ

Jin has been watching Kame for twenty minutes now. The boy’s every move was firm and skilled, yet elegant and smooth. He was dancing with devotion, he wasn’t paying attention to anything else, he was in his own world now. On his face there was am unusually serious expression. Jin has never imagined that the boy can be this serious about anything in the world. He felt entirely lost in watching the younger man’s curves and muscles, just as much as his beautiful face which was shaded by his brown locks now and then. He was really a fucking professional, Jin quoted the boy, and he has the stamina, he admitted. He was not showing any sign of tiredness after twenty-five minutes except the sweat drops that were rolling down on his face.

“Ok, that’s enough”, Jin said and he turned the music off.

Kame stopped and came closer “So I passed the test?”, he asked panting and looked at Jin, waiting for his answer.

“Let’s say yes”, Jin said then picked up his mic and put his black fedora on his head “Sit down. This will be the first song. We’re gonna show you the choreography now so you better watch closely.

Kame was already watching closely because the mere sight of Jin with his fedora was breathtaking by the way. And when Kame saw Jin’s hips moving in a damn sexy way and heard his clear and unique voice filling in the huge place, he forgot his task to memorize the choreography. Jin was even more sexy than on the screen. Kame felt that cold sweat started to form on his back and he was more than grateful when the song finally ended and Jin stopped moving his damned hips.

“So everything’s clear?’, Jin asked and Kame could only nod not really catching the meaning of the question itself. “Ok, let’s start then!”

ӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿ

They practiced for hours when Jin finally decided to take a break to eat something. Kame found Jin very aggressive and arrogant just as much as he liked Koki. Koki was nice and funny and the type who was very easy to get along with. He looked like a gangster but he wasn’t, Kame could tell the difference.

When they reached the kitchen, Kame stopped abruptly seeing the huge dining table full of different kinds of food.

“Akanishi, this is great! You can cook? You don’t look like one who can.”, Kame yelled.

“Lower your voice, Kamenashi, this is not an amusement park, but my house.”, Jin said in an annoyed tone. “And I didn’t cook this. The landlady did.”

Kame’s eyes widened “What? You have a nanny, Akanishi? Hahaha”, he laughed “Do you need a nanny to take care of you? Hahaha”

“Shut up!!!”, Jin replied angrily “She’s the landlady, I said”

But Kame wasn’t paying attention. He suddenly stopped laughing and just stared out of the huge windows. “You have a swimming pool?”, he shouted with excitement “So big!! Can I try it?”

“No!”, came the friendly answer. Jin couldn’t help smiling a bit for himself. Kame really looked like a child. A noisy one, actually.

“Akanishi, do you live here alone?”, Kame asked with pure curiosity in his voice. “Kamenashi, come here and eat, we still have a lot of things to do then!”, Jin ordered the younger boy not bothering to answer him.

In the moment Kame settled down and was ready to repeat his last question to Jin, a melodious tone was heard from not very far away.

“Uhm… it’s mine”, Kame said and he ran out to grab his phone. It was in the pocket of his jacket which he took off in the hall when he arrived in the morning.

Jin frowned a bit as he was watching the boy. He didn’t even have to move to see his face while he was talking on the phone.

“Kame here!!”, the boy yelled happily, then there was a long silence. And during this very weird and somehow uneasy silence Jin was watching the young man closely. Kame’s face paled a bit, his smile froze.

“No, I can’t, I’m working now… no, I don’t want that… you’re right… ok, no problem, I’m coming”, Kame finished the call then let out a sigh before he headed back to the kitchen.

“Akanishi…”, he said hesitantly “I have to go now…”

“Huh?”, Jin shouted angrily “No way. We’re not done for today”

“Sorry, but this is important. My life depends on it”

Jin suddenly stilled when he heard the strange choice of words. He narrowed his eyes. “What the hell does this suppose to mean?”

Kame looked everywhere but into Jin’s eyes and brushed his hair back nervously. “Nothing, really. I… I just have some business to do”, he tried to explain, but then he lost his patience “Look, I don’t have time for this, I have to go, I’m very sorry, but I have to”, and with this he went back to the practice room and started to pack his things hurriedly into his bag.

Jin was more than angry. He didn’t like the nervous expression on Kame’s pale face and he just knew that something was very wrong here. So when Kame was done with packing and dressing up and reached the front door, he jumped up and ran after the boy. He grabbed Kame’s arm and turned him back. “Don’t think, Kamenashi, that you can behave like this!”

Kame was staring at him with a serious face “I don’t know what your problem is, but let me go now because I’m in a hurry you know.”

“There are rules, Kamenashi, we made a deal.”

Kame jerked his arm back from the grip of the other man. “And I’m not breaking any rule. I’m gonna dance, just… just…”, Kame was a loss of words, an unreadable expression ran through his face but in the next moment his determined voice returned and he said firmly, “just let me go now”

Jin narrowed his eyes “What the hell is going on with you?”, asked in a low voice which made the young boy even angrier.

But Kame didn’t shout this time, just leaned a bit forward “Let’s make another deal, huh? You mind your own business and I don’t barge in yours”, he hissed to Jin, then turned his back to the man and walked away.

Jin was watching Kame’s back and he could swear that something was very very wrong with the boy. But it was not his problem. Kame was right, he had to admit, both of them should mind their own business and keep themselves away from each other.
