I can move into one of the spare bedrooms, right? The house is big enough you'll never know I'm there! You won't even notice my books on the shelves, there will be plenty of space to spare! Though you might notice the food randomly appearing as I make use of that kitchen!

Yeah, the house is awesome, you guys would be crazy not to take it. And as I said, I think you're going about it very wisely as well. How much work does it need? From what I can tell in the photos, it doesn't actually *need* much, but could take a few small things to make it look a bit nicer.
That's a gorgeous house! I love how big the kitchen area is with the movable island. And the library with the gas fireplace. *drools over the bookshelves*
When we redid our office that's more like what I had in mind. Unfortunately, the room was too small to be able to make it work :(
