It was unfair. For two years Sara had lived next door to him, and she had gone to the same school that he, Eddie, and Stephen attended, but that afternoon she and her family would be leaving. Her father had gotten a better paying job away from New York, so they would be moving and most likely not coming back. Michael didn't have a lot of friends, not girl ones anyway, and having to say goodbye to her seemed unfair. So, so unfair
