My Plan in 2 phases
In establishing an action plan (as per Living Life to the full AND CMHA) I have revised my action plan. The original plan was good but I was having trouble getting the first step of it done so revised it to address it as 2 challenges: Sleep schedule and incorporating exercise into my routine.
Phase 1

Making a plan
1) What am I going to do?
Integrate exercise into daily routine to increase flexibility and mobility
2) When am I doing to do it?
Over the next month gradually build into routine and increase to total of 3 days a week.
- Wake at 9am (going to bed sleep before midnight ideally)
- Engage in “Rise & Shrine” routine daily (YouTube)

I am thankful for ...
My stash of shelf stable foods ... I found I had a bag of cornmeal, a bag or two of dried chickpeas among some other cans of food I had not been using (some gifts, some from food hampers) and we hit the end of January with very little meat left. I had a ham from our Christmas hamper and a small (think it is a Cornish hen) chicken and not a lot else ( Read more... ) -
Been a long time
I know it has been a long time since I posted on here ... 2012 around my pup's birthday ... wow!
Ok so going to try and treat this as a gratitude journal for the next little while and to start, going to try listing 3 things I am thankful for each day before I retire.
A couple things I am always thankful for:

Damn time passes
Hard to believe last time I posted was just after we brought Porthos home!! He turned 1 year March 20 2012! Hard to believe my little baby is a year old now. The vet said he has a nice coat and is a healthy weight of 11.5kg. He stands approximately 15 inches at the shoulder, taller than his dam (13 inches) & his sire (12 inches)!

Porthos is HOME
Well we brought Porthos home yesterday evening. So far he seems to LOVE the toys we bought him, he is eating (though I did put a bit of beef broth on the kibble to entice him), hes toileted mostly outside .... we have taken him for a short walk, just up the street to the corner store where the owner is very dog friendly. Ok so what do I need to consider on this basis
- student accomodations for at least a couple days, perhaps a week or a season in some cases
- monitoring facilities (internet access, computer setups?)

Homestead Project
Ok so .... How much land should I get? Well I got a book that includes a layout for a 5 acre farm, I do not have a scanner or I would include an image of the farm layout they have in "The Self-Sufficient Life and How to Live it" (page 36-37 for those that have it). Vision of my Dream
First above all else, I want the community to be Sustainability Focused. I am not a doom sayer, but lets say the SHTF does happen, I want our community to be able to weather it.
