The shouting arguments with Kathy started this afternoon. We just had another one. I am upstairs avoiding everyone right now. I think a three-week stay might be excessive

That's really weird. My only other encounter with something that off-kilter was with a friend's husband, who has to have all the steps to a procedure written down (and broken down *small*) due to his disability, or he can't do them.

That sounds like some of the I said X, he heard Y in some of our family's worst arguments.
