Getting toward noon but not there yet. I've hung out laundry and brought in laundry and fed myself and David and woken Kathy up and gotten David off to school and done my yoga and fed the cats and the chickens. I just started preheating the oven and making a pot of coffee for a new chocolate cake recipe I'm trying. Then there's dishwashing and bathroom cleaning and the hanging out of laundry to be dealt with, and of course I need to make the rest of dinner and tomorrow's lunch. We went to the end of summer party that some very social members of a crowd I used to hang with throw every year. I hadn't been to one of their parties in a while, and I'm all done with them now. I am up and dressed. Kathy may annoy me in many ways, but she is a wonderful home health aide. I went to see my surgeon for a follow-up visit on Friday.I have a mild infection and am on antibiotics, and he said I need to shower every day and pat the affected areas dry. I seem to have caught a cold. I woke up from my morning nap, took off my CPAP mask, and immediately started having to blow my nose constantly, and I am also sneezing my head off. Sneezing is rather irritating to areas currently recovering from surgery.
