Listen, I know not working on my paper today was kinda a big fail, but I don't think that really justifies karma paying me back with another night of Guille's body contorting while he snores and gasps for air every 30 seconds or so. Honestly, it makes me want to go jump off the roof of the house or slit my wrists or something.

i started out my day with a couple of hours of meetings for my ra job and then went to the coffeeshop where i finished coding yesterday's transcript. My department has a grad student organization and someone was kind enough to nominate me to be president of it. While I am flattered at the vote of confidence, I don't necessarily think it would be a great time investment. Next Steps in Academia
So I'm back in Tucson, and back at work. Classes start on Wednesday, but despite having completed an intricate spreadsheet 6 months ago listing and rating all of the classes I could potentially take and mapping out my plans, I don't actually know what I'll be doing ( Read more... )
