Aw those bears are way cute!
And that is so sad about the baby. Did they know from the beginning of pregnancy so that he probably wouldn't make it long?

He was diagnosed with T18 midway through the pregnancy. Once that was confirmed, they knew there was a 50% chance they'd lose him before he came to full term, and that his chances of surviving past a single year were very low. So...they've been bracing for the blow for a while now, but I don't imagine that it softens it any.

Your work is so beautiful. I'm so terribly sorry for the loss of their baby boy. Their hearts must be breaking.
